We, as Charter Us Tours, have been conducting tours to the Cape West Coast area the last 8 years to view the flower splendor.
For the 2024 season our one day tours will involve transfers from Cape Town and Stellenbosch visiting Langebaan, the West Coast Nature Reserve ( Postberg ), Yzerfontein and Darling. We will be guided by the Weather Bureau regarding the weather patterns as it is important to have sunshine and temperature of 18 degrees Celcius and above. The current predictions ( 17 July 2024 ) indicates that 15, 16, 21, 22, 24 and 29 August 2024 could be worthwhile to view the flowers. We will also enjoy a gourmet picnic on a private farm close to Yzerfontein and sample some wines at the Darling Wine Cellar before returning home. Duration of trip 10h00 – 18h00. Travelling will be in a 12-seater Toyota Quantum and/or a Mercedes Benz Sprinter with 22 seats. A minimum of 10 clients will be needed to secure the trip. A further incentive is a complimentary wine tasting experience for two persons in the Stellenbosch region by participating in a one question trivia, and then a draw if there are more than one correct answer ( value = R2 000.00 ).
Prices :
- 10 – 14 pax = R1 300 p.p.
- 15 – 19 pax = R1 100 p.p.
- 20 pax = R900 p.p.
- + R150.00 p.p. for entrance fees at West Coast Nature Reserve for International clients.
